Dear customers and partners, today we have told our employees, and now also You, about the change taking place in our company.
After a long career as an entrepreneur, the founder of Awutek Oy, Erik Torkko, together with his wife Iris, have invited Pekka Rasanen to be the new CEO of the company. Pekka is a wood technology engineer who has previously worked in Awutek Oy’s sales operations. This appointment will be effective as of today, and at the same time Erik Torkko will move to the position of Chairman of the Board of Awutek Oy, away from operational day-to-day activities.
The purpose of this change is to secure the company’s stable and reliable growth strategy, while taking care of good customer and client relationships. In addition to his duties as the CEO, Pekka Rasanen will also continue as a contact person for key principals, still further developing cooperation with you.
