The company Priess und Horstmann is a modern, medium-sized company in the small town of Unterlübbe in the east of Westphalia. It was here that the descendants of two families of differing commercial traditions, the one skilled woodworkers and the other skilled blacksmiths, joined forces in one happy new union.
Products of international appeal have emerged from this business relationship in a process of continual grappling with technical development. We have not lost our bond, however, with the local surroundings in the shadow of the Wiehengebirge mountain range. It is still nurtured and evident in more than just the local Westphalian Low German dialect that is prevalent in the company.
